Nora Kirkham

Nora reads from her forthcoming poetry collection, Landing

Nora Kirkham is interested in the relationships between place, religious beliefs and creative practice. She has an MA in Creative Writing from University College Cork, and a M.Litt. in Theology and the Arts and a PhD in English Literature from the University of St Andrews. In addition to her collection of poetry entitled Landing (spring 2026), she has published poetry, essays, and short stories in publications such as The Christian Century, Ruminate, Fathom Magazine, Rock & Sling, Arboreal Magazine, Among Worlds, Tokyo Poetry Journal, Amethyst Review, and Transpositions

At Gordon she teaches Literature and the Natural World, Poetry & Poetics, Introduction to Creative Writing, Creative Writing – Nonfiction, Creative Writing – Poetry, Western Literature, and The Great Conversation.
